To reach this aim, LipoFIT will acquire and run a 600 MHz NMR-system equipped for high throughput applications. In due course large pools of samples will be analyzed in order to establish the proper conditions to use this technology nowadays mainly employed in basic research applications for routine applications in analytics
The new NMR-system, worth more than one million euro, will be the first of its kind used exclusively for the analysis of medical samples under high throughput conditions.
